See the landmarks. Discover the stories. Understand London.

London's famous landmarks are only part of its story.

This private three-hour experience combines some of the capital's great sights with the hidden streets, characters and stories that make London endlessly surprising.

We begin near St Paul's Cathedral, where old and new London sit side by side, before exploring the historic City and heading towards Bankside.

Along the way we'll uncover Roman and medieval London, Shakespeare connections, ancient streets and some of the quirky stories that most visitors simply walk past.

We'll see how London has constantly reinvented itself — while somehow leaving pieces of its extraordinary past hiding in plain sight.

Then we'll travel by Underground from London Bridge to Westminster, where we'll explore some of the landmarks recognised around the world, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Downing Street, before finishing in Westminster or around Trafalgar Square depending on our pace.

But this isn't about racing between landmarks and ticking boxes.

It's about understanding what's around you.

Why is that building there? What happened on this street? Who lived here? What survived? What disappeared?

I'll use stories, questions and historic images to help reveal a London that's very easy to miss when you're exploring alone.
